I have a question relating to Canada PR background check when applying for Canada PR from India. If you were terminated in your job and apply for Canada PR does that affect the PR in any way. My job was terminated in the US and I moved to India and wanted to know how the PR background check works when applying for Canada PR. Total work experience is 8.5 years.

Lay offs have no impact on your application. It does depend if there was a negative reason for your termination and your employer chooses to disclose that in case they are contacted for verification.
