My wife is going to land next week and I have a few questions. She will be bringing some personal Jewels (about 180 gms of gold) and a diamond ring (CAD 500 worth). The diamond ring was bought in Canada and I gave it to her during the wedding. Is there any problem in bringing them?

I didn't have much money to declare, so I guess not sure that he has to declare to the immigration that he has transefered money, because they have to know if someone is bringing money more than 10K

if you transfer money - there's no limit for receiving it in Canada, though there can be a limit in the local country - where you send it from.

No, you don't have to declare money that you intend to transfer later. Only the money you actually have with you.
