Jewellery Declaration

Hi
My spouse is going to land in Canada on an Open Work Permit. Does she have to declare if any jewellery she carries?
If yes, what is the procedure? We do not have any such receipts or letterheads from the jeweller to declare any estimate worth in CAD.

We landed at the airport and the authorities did not ask for them. The border authorities further mentioned if it is under personal use, you do not need to declare them. Hope this helps
