Jes-Need your expert advise about CEC work experience

Hey

I have a question regarding one year work experience for a graduate under CEC class. I started on April 1, 2010 but my initial fifteen days were unpaid. Then I went on a vacation for one and a half month in december and half January. Can I apply in April or should I calculate 12 months and then apply after wards. My appointment letter states that my job started on April 1, 2010. If you calculate from T4, then number of months from my employment income comes out to be 7 months in the year 2010. Please suggest Jes.

While waiting for Jes to respond, I believe it needs to be 12 months experience with hours 37.5 per week.

Hi Yajumba, if your vacation time was unpaid leave (rather than paid vacation), I don't think you can count the time. I agree with Dhanesh, if you can, I suggest waiting a couple of months past April (June-July) so that there is no doubt that you have a full 1 year of paid employment before you apply.
