My GF is a Japanese citizen, her working holiday visa will expire Sep 01 2016. We're going to go to vacations to Europe in the end of the August and will come back to Canada in mid-September 2016. Could you please kindly advise:
1. Is it a problem-free procedure for Japanese - just to get a visitor status at arrival, since she doesn't need a visa and has her eTA?
2. Would it be better if we request the status change on-line now (fee will be required and 30 days in advance should be submitted). I mean, if we change her status now and then she leaves Canada - it will kind of revoke this status, right? So it doesn't make any sense to do it online now...
