Japan outland application

Hey everyone!
I have a few questions about outland sponsorship application for Canadian immigration.
I am a Canadian currently living in Canada and my fiance is Japanese, currently living in Japan. We will be getting married in Canada on June this year and my fiance will immigrate to Canada. To my understanding applying through outland will take a shorter amount of time to have the application processed, therefore we are interested in applying that way. However, I am confused about the process. Which forms do we need to fill out in order to apply outland? What language are the forms in? And to where will we need to send them? Also, if we apply outland will he still be eligible to receiving an open work permit?

All forms are done in English or French. Any documents you submit in Japanese, must be officially translated to include in the application.

The entire app is sent to CPC-Mississauga first, and after sponsor approval (1 month) CPC-M will forward the app to Manila for applicant processing.

There is no open work permit associated with an outland app. If your spouse wants to work during the process, they will need to see what working holiday or work/study permits they would be eligible for as a Japanese citizen, or find an employer in Canada willing to go through the LMO process to hire them under a closed work permit. None of this has anything to do with the outland app. Else they can come to Canada as a visitor during the processing time, but won't be able to work.

Hi, I'm sponsoring my husband from outland. Could he get a closed work permit ( he by change get a job offer and LMO letter) during the process of outland application?

Yes, a closed work permit through LMO process is done independent of any outland PR app, so it's no problem.
