January Intake, any disadvantages?

As the title already suggests, can anyone tell me if January intake has any disadvantages other than cold weather. Specifically, do the students of January intake finish their course a semester early with September students?

Depends on school. Usually September students have summer off, jan students have fall off.

So, is it a good thing or bad?
Also, I heard it is very hard to find part time jobs during winter when the semester starts.
