Jan 2014 Intake VISA..!!! Opinion Needed !!

Has anyone who is scheduled to travel to Canada for January 2014 session applied and received visa? I received my admission offer letter for Jan 2014 intake in the University of Calgary and applied for a visa under the university category on July 31, 2013. There's still no news on the visa.

I wanted to confirm that people who are getting visas now are all for the Sept 2013 intake ?

I assume my visa is taking time because Sept 2013 applicants will be given preference over my file. Is that the case?

As far as i know they are finishing september batch first then they will move onto the next intake. Dont worry you will get your passport with a visa soon
