J-1 student is going to apply for Visitior visa

Now I am in Usa with j-1 visa (Work and Travel), planinng to go Niagara FAlls, Toronto, and so forth , the tour takes about three days and ends in New York City. What chances of getting visa and what I need to show to persuade immigration officer to get visitor visa!!!
