I am finalizing my documents to be sent to my sponsor but am confused about the Birth certificate being stated in the item No. 9 of the Appendix A: Document Check list. It says:
For Nationals of Pakistan:
"Original birth certificates for yourself and your spouse or common-law partner, together with
certified translations into English or French. A birth certificate is normally acceptable if the
registration of the birth was made shortly after the birth. The birth certificate must bear the name
of the person whose birth it records, and must have been issued on the prescribed form by an
official responsible for the registration of births in the municipality or district in which the birth took
place".
I can provide the birth certificate of myself. How can I provide my husband's birth certificate. Logically it should be with the Canadian embassy when the sponsor applied for the immigration. Secondly, my husband does not have his birth certificate but he got the nationality. What to do with this? Please advise.
