ITA with profile expiration imminent

Good evening
I was invited in the last draw, but have yet to execute the application (getting documents etc) My profile is due to expire on February 7th. The terminology of the fora posts is unclear with respect to this.
Is my profile frozen now I received the ITA, or is only the case once I actually apply?

It happens after you submit and pay the fees.
