My spouse is a Canadian Citizen born in Canada. I am currently filling in the information about my spouse. I know that there are things that are asked that don't need to be answered such as police and medical records. Is the following required?

- Travel history for the last 10 years plus passport scan
If we do have to submit travel history and passport scan, I'm a bit worried since she renewed hers in 2011 and we don't know where her old one is that has all the stamps for travel dating back to 2005 (they require 10 years). Her current passport has no stamps since we have not traveled since then.

- Proof of citizenship for her mother and father (they were born outside of Canada).
If we have to submit this, her father is deceased as of April and we likely won't be able to locate this document. Her mother is on vacation at her home country until January so we probably won't get her document either.

These are my main concerns regarding spouse details, so if anyone can provide some guidance it would be appreciated!

No and no.

As your spouse is Canadian, she is not part of your application.

It looks to me as if you're trying to fill out the questions which apply to a spouse applying to immigrate *with* you as a dependent.

Hi, Lammawitch. This information came up in my application so I thought it was required. Any suggestions on how to handle this? Would there be any negatives to providing the information anyway? They couldn't deny me for giving too much, right? I get nervous when thinking about not including something in my application. It's hard to know what might make them reject my application. Thank you. :)
