Hi everyone.

I have a question from the experienced people out here and if you guys can help me out and clear my confusion.

I recieved my ITA on 24th Feb 2016. I downloaded the pdf from the messages recieved in myCIC account. That PDF clearly states the steps to be performed :-
1. Log into your MyCIC account
2. Go to the section called “applications”
3. Find the application called “permanent residence” and click on it
4. Review and validate the information on the pre-filled form (transferred from your Express Entry profile)
5. Complete the remaining questions
6. Obtain the documents which you must submit with your application (see “checklist” for details)

In the above steps everything is clear till step #5. But step #6 has put me in confusion. The confusion is because when I click on "Continue my application", CIC just gives me option to fill up the various forms on it (such as personal details, work experience, family details etc). But no where i have been asked to upload the documents.

Also I have been given 60 days to accept this ITA and submit the form. My question is that in this 60-day duration, i have to just update these forms or I need to upload various documents as well? If I need to upload documents also, then where? I cant see any option for that.

Please clear my confustion.

Regards,
Raghu Bedi

Both - once you have filled in the online forms and click continue, you will be at the document upload page.

Everything needs to be provided in this 60 day window.

First you need to complete the questionnaire, then you will see the document upload section. This is because the documents required depend partly on your answers in the questionnaire.

You will have to complete the entire application in 60 days, including document upload.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

Please tell me the Medical Examination document also need to be provided in the same step? I am asking this to know if I should go ahead with Medical exam myself or I should wait for some intimation to me as to when and where I need to go for medical examination?

Yes - medical required to be uploaded in the 60 day window.

Here is the link to find a panel doctor: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

If you cant get a booking in the 60 day time frame, you are able to upload proof that you have made the booking as soon as you could. Thats a last resort, best to get it done before you submit if possible.
