ITA received - Passport expiring in 5 months

Guys & Gals,

I just got ITA at CRS score 454.

My passport is expiring in June and I was planning to go to my home country next month to get a new passport.

what should i do now?

Option 1. Shall i accept the invitation and submit my current passport details and don't get a new passport?

Option 2. Shall i accept the invitation and wait till I get a new passport and submit the same.

Any other option?

If you can take a new passport before sending the application (on consulate near you), you can submit the application after that. If not, you can send the application with your current passport and later sen a CSE with the new one

Option 3 - apply with the current passport. When you get the new passport, scan it and submit.

This happens all the time - no worries! And congrats on the ITA...
