Hi Everyone,

I have a few questions about these histories that I need to fill out to accept the ITA. Could you please answer them if you have any helpful information?

1) Personal history
- I have about 1.5-2 years of cumulative unemployed periods between my home country and Canada in the past 10 years. I was mainly self-learning, travelling, sight-seeing, volunteering, just hanging out with friends and stuff. Should I include a letter of explanation for this? I was assuming that IRCC might want to see what I was up to in more detail since it's a lot, and I was wondering if it's acceptable to include a letter of explanation before they even ask for it?

2) Travel History
- My current country of residence is Canada. I think it has been Canada since Feb 2014 because that's when I first came here, and I stayed longer than 6 months, and went back to my country of origin (South Korea) only periodically and less than 4 months at a time. Only the first time back home was for about 4 months, and the subsequent visits were shorter than 3 weeks, every other year-ish. So, my questions is - Can I exclude Canada and South Korea from my travel history? I've been searching to find a definite answer to this, and I haven't been successful. Can anyone clarify this for me? If I were to follow the instruction to the letter. I would be leaving these out. But there are so many conflicted opinions on this that I got confused as well lol. "Provide details of any trips outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years."

3) Address History
- Can one leave out any short-term stays for this? For example, if the unit you were moving in in 5 days was not available, so you were staying at Airbnb, hotel or whatever short-term accommodation for a week or two. Can this be left out of the address history?

Thank you!!

1. Just put in Unemployed and you dont need to explain anything. That would just complicate things.
2. In the travel history, do NOT exclude anything, even if the trip was for just a few days. The system will figure out by itself how many PCCs you need to provide.
3. Yes you can, no problem.
