ITA-PCC-Need urgent HELP, please help

Hello everyone,

Need urgent help

I am from INDIA ( Punjab )
I Got ITA and Nomination from Ontario,
I have 40 more days to submit my document,
I am facing problem in my PCC,
I Got my PCC and my spouse PCC done today, but the issue is with passport number mentioned in the PCC's, I got married in 2014 and didnot changed address in passport and marital status so is the case with my husband, this passport number is used everywhere in our express entry profile, even in IELTS score and medicals done,

now, our consultant is suggesting us to update/renew our passports but it will change our passport number as well as it will be different number as on PCC,

please guide me that can i still upload current PCC with single marital status and would it cause me refusal if i don't update the passports.
although we have marriage certificate, and proof of current residence.
Because if we both update our passport again it would result unnecessary delay in our application.. and can we change it after we submit the application ??

Single Marital status? That is confusing...
Other case, you dont have to change the address in passport after marriage... Me and my wife is still using the same old passport and we attach marriage certificate to prove relationship...

Why is your consultant asking to update the passports?

Also, your old passport number will be mentioned in your new passport. So even if you want to listen to your consultant, you will not face any issues.
