Hello,

Work experience details for my EE profile: June 2016-May 2018(NOC 2174) and June 2018-Present(NOC 2173). My ITA got issued on May 1(almost 2 months earlier) and the last date for submission of complete applicaton is July 1. I have read other answers on the forum that suggest if you complete 3 years by the time you submit e-APR there should not be any concern.

However, my actual work experience details are June 27 2016 - May 25 2018 and June 04 2018 - Present. I have got a one week gap between joining two different companies. I was thinking of submitting my complete application(e-APR) on or after June 26, but, even in that case my work experience falls short of 3 years by 1 week. Is this acceptable? Or my application could get rejected on the basis of this.

Can’t tell u if it will be accepted or not but I can certainly tell u about my friends case.

He received points for 2 years of Canadian experience which is translated as 104 weeks. In actual he only has 99 weeks. EE calculator works assigned him points for 2 years. Had his experienced consider only for 1 year (remember he was shy by 5 weeks) his CRS would have been lower than the minimum threshold of that draw.
Yet he received his copr and he is now an immigrant and about to apply for citizenship.

I will advise u don’t bother about this 1 week and go a head and apply. By the time aGent will be doing R10 check ur 1 week gap would already be filled

Good luck!!
