Hi All,

I wanted to ask a query. If in a family, one has filed ITA and in family section(in ITA form), all family members have been declared with all correct facts and no discrepancy. And on the other hand, if other family member applies for tourist visa for Canada, then will there be any problem in either of the applications?

During the interview for tourist visa, it will be said that the family member is going there for holidays.

No other thing will be talked about by the family member before the visa officer.

Will this cause any issue? Please suggest.

As long as all details/information about the family members have been declared correctly, there would be no issue.

Interviews are rare for TRVs

So, we can start with Tourist visa filing after the filing of ITA, right?

There would be no issue that as some other family member of your family has filed for PR, we need to know the reason behind going on Tourist Visa.

Right?

There's no issue with the family member applying for a TRV (visitor visa). S/he must prove strong ties to be approved. Else, it could incorrectly imply that the family member (visitor) is moving to Canada to wait it out for the PR
