Hi All, thank you for your help in advance.

I received an ITA and am filling out on my own. For address history, I have a long gap where I was travelling and did not really live in Canada. I came back for 1 day only. So, in my travel history it says I was in USA for Jan up to 22, then in a another country from 23 onwards, with no break in-between where they would assume I came back to Canada. My total break was from September - April essentially, which I am very worried about. Will this affect me? I did come back to Canada for 1 day so at the time, I had assumed that would nullify that I am not supposed to leave for over 6 months, from what I understand. I am on a 3 year post graduate work permit so I am unsure if that is even true.
Anyway, I am wondering what to put for my address at this point since it says not to leave any gaps. I can write the address I left all my belongings in, or address abroad? Would that look bad?

Side note as well.. when do we upload our documents?! I have everything except this filled out but havent found a place to upload yet?!

I will let other experts answer the address history questions.

Once you fill out all you history forms, you will have to press continue tab at the bottom of the page which will take you to your personalized documents upload checklist.

under your travel history your bound to mention all your travel history, even if it is for few hours. This is to check if you have accumulated over 6 months of stay in any other countries. If you have a stamping crossing into Canada and not mentioning that in the travel history would be little concerning for me. I would suggest you call CIC and try to update your file.

Sorry, I forgot to specify that I am currently residing in Canada, so I am only logging my trips which are outside of Canada. My concern is that I was gone for 4 months, returned to Canada for 1 day, then left again for 3 months. But I am not sure if they will notice that I came for 1 day, as it reads that my Vacation was up til 22nd, then again on 23rd. I dont know if that makes sense. For all other travelling I overlapped the dates as true, but not in this case as I was here for 1 day (I came for 1 day, and flew out the next)
