I have received my CSQ from Quebec and hope to clear the Federal part by next summer.
We plan to live in Gatineau and work in Ottawa.
I need some guidance on the following issues please -
1) My son (age 22) has done Bach of Comp Applications from Bangalore India and will be looking for a software programmer job in an IT Co. He is also proficient in Ruby On Rails and Android mobile phone programming, but self taught and no experience so far. He cannot work here while we wait owing to dependency issues. But he is good in his area and has won many awards in college.
What kind of a starting job/salary can he expect, what is the job prospect in Ottawa for this.
2) I am from a Business background and plan to start off as a Bookkeeper/Admin job. My communication skill is quite good.
What are my employment chances and salary to be expected.
Will greatly appreciate the comments and guidance from the seniors here for both my son and I.
