It is too late to apply for student visa? Applying on Dec 23 Chandigarh Office

I just got the admission acceptance letter from University of Windsor for Winter term 2015. I have the option to defer it to Fall 2015 but I do not want to waste 9 more months. I am worried that my visa may get refused because of the time frame. Although I do have an email from University stating that latest date to join University is February 2.

It is too late to apply for student visa? or should I take risk and apply? Any one else applying late?

You can Surely apply if ur start date is 2nd feb and the term start date should be mentioned on Offer Letter.If its mentioned on offer than its good otherwise u can attach a print of d email on which ur university or college mentioned start date.
You still have time to apply for visa and apply for it as early as possible and goodluck for ur visa.u will surely get it.

moreover Chandigarh office as far as i have heard is processing files real fast.... i mean people are normally getting replies within 10 days....
