I have received my WES evaluation recently, and there is a note stating 'The names on one or more of the academic credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name indicated above'.
In the passport my first name is printed with out any spaces in between. However, in the degree certificate, there is a space in the first name. Like the sample name below.
Passport : Balakrishnan Ranjith
Degree Certificate : Bala Krishnan R
** Balakrishnan is the first name ; Ranjith is the last name. It is usual custom that only initial is used in the last name.
I have checked multiple threads related to the same issue, and following suggestions have been provided.
1) Change the name in degree certificate ( to match with passport) : However, this is a lengthy process.
2) Get affidavit stating both name belongs to the same person.
I would like to check if any one followed the 2nd approach(submitting affidavit), and was able to get through the IRCC PR process.
