Hi

I am applying for Visitor Visa for my family. Its for me, my wife and 2 children.

I have 2 questions :

1) In the application form how much amount is advisable to fill in Funds available for your stay in CA $?

2) I am trying to upload my 4 month bank statement. Its a large file of 15 MB as there are about 17 pages. I am not allowed to upload file larger than 4 MB. When I reduce the file size by reducing file resolution the bank statement becomes hazy and unclear. Is there any workaround this issue?

Pls advise urgently.

Hi,

I have no answer for question no. 1. For no. 2 try using pdf merger, you can google it and it's free, it will reduced the pdf size.

I have managed to reduce the file size but the file loses it clarity after doing that. The bank statement is not clear as it become hazy with reduced resolution/file size.

I scanned it.

I have managed to sort it out using Color Synch Utility on mac.

Any suggestions on Funds to be showed for a Visitor Visa?

Oh, good, you're on a Mac, it's definitely easier to sort it out on a Mac. :D I would have also suggested to rescan it at a lower dpi.

Also attach your proof of employment, and the rule of thumb around here is to show $1000 for every week of stay.

As an unofficial guide, it is about CAD 1000 per week of visit per person + airfare + hotel..... it actually depends on the type of itinerary/visit plan that you've worked out
