I've submitted my visa application to visit Canada for coming fall break. I've applied online and currently reside in Washington, DC as a full-time student but I'm not a citizen of the US and not a holder of Green Card. Canada has sent me a biometric instruction letter that requires to go to the nearest US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Application Support Centre (ASC) or Visa application centre (VAC) and the closest one is in Virginia. The issue is that I can't make an appointment as my UCI and Application numbers don't apply as reference number. Does it mean that I have to travel to NYC to go to VAC there?
If you need more details about US visa type and residency I can provide it. I'm really worried about this problem as I have to do it within 30 days otherwise I get refusal.
