Hello Forum,

Can you please help me in one issue that I am facing while creating the EE application online? I would highly appreciate your help in this regard,

My given name in passport is: Txxx Ixxx
My last name/surname in passport is: <blank>

I started the EE profile filling online and am stuck below (image), where both fields are mandatory.

For a solution, I read a couple of forum threads, but still not sure on how to proceed.

1. For first name (given name point 2 above), I am pretty sure it should be Txxx Ixxx, as per the help question mark information beside it which says,

2. For last or family name, I can see two information in help section of their website - First information suggests to leave the given name blank, which I think we cannot do so in this case.

Second information (on clicking the question mark beside last name field) suggests, put the whole name in the family/surname filed as well if we have only one name in passport. I am not sure what this means, moreover, if I input Txxx Ixxx (my given name) in both fields i.e. in given name and family name, I see the database captures my name as: Txxx Ixxx Txxx Ixxx (twice) in next/future sections. So my name is later on displayed as Txxx Ixxx Txxx Ixxx which should not be the case.

I also read in one of the threads that, an LOE would be necessary in such cases. How and where to upload this? If so, any idea on how to go from here? I am sure many would have faced this issue.

Is there some format for this or any better solution to this issue?

Again, I would really appreciate any help in this regard!

Thanks in advance,
tip
