I obtained the following diploma from Cambridge university years ago and it has helped my career tremendously:

More about this diploma:
"Cambridge ESOL's Delta qualification for teachers is at the same academic level as a Master's degree or a professional diploma in the UK, Ireland and other European Countries. This is a result of Delta being placed at level 7 of the UK government’s Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF), making it the only English language teaching diploma currently included at this level. Those who pass Delta can now accumulate a total of 60 QCF credits broken down into 20 for Understanding Language, Methodology and Resources for Teaching, 20 for Developing Professional Practice and 20 for Extending Practice and ELT Specialism."
You can get a better idea about what level 7 means by reading here:

Moving on to my story with WES, I sent them my diploma to be assessed and this was their reply:
I honestly don't understand their response. The diploma is an academic qualification and it provides an excellent bridge for those who wish to pursue further academic qualifications related to TEFL at Masters level.
Can someone please explain to me what's going on here?
Should I try a different agency and hope I'll get the desired ECA?
