My partner and I did an up-front medical exam on July 18,2019 (I thought I would get ITA very soon). However, we just got ITA on Jan 8,2020. At this time, our up-front medical exam is still valid until July 18,2020, but the passport I used when I take the medical exam expired, so I renewed my passport in November 2019.
My questions are:
1) Since the up-front medical exam is still valid for another 6 months, am I able to submit this one? Or is that not valid anymore because I got a new passport?
2) If I need to get a new medical exam, what about my partner? Does he need to get a new medical exam too since we are in the same application? My partner is the PA.
By the way, my partner applied under Nova Scotia PNP Express Entry and got ITA, he is the PA, I am the dependent. However, at the time we did the up-front medical exam, I was going to apply under CEC, I was the PA, he was the dependent, but my score was not high enough, so my partner applied PNP instead. Does this matter to up-front medical exam ?
