Hello, my family is being considered for resettling to Canada. I would like to know if the government provides any educational support for higher education

Since posting under refugee then how are you resettling in Canada? High school is covered. You pay for post secondary out of pocket or take out loans. You may get some government funding, but may have to pay it back once school is completed.

The whole point of refugee resettlement is safety and stability not free education. Only a small fraction of refugees are offered resettlement at all so that is already winning the lottery. Refugee resettlement in general is not an easy process but for genuine refugees most have no easy options.

@amidseas the message below is not directed at you. as others have said high school is covered by the govt and post secondary can be a combination of grants and loans, you will likely have to pay back a portion of it. it depends which province you resettle in etc. good luck!

people's use of common terms in the canadian immigration context may not be exactly what the OP intended given language differences. and even if it is there is no need to post messages in a condescending tone to folks who come here looking for information.
there is a tendency to police people's posts on this forum (especially new members) and it makes no sense. dont assume people's intentions or context- we literally know nothing about each others lives.
give people grace, answer their question directly or better yet ignore their questions if you dont have a direct answer, and go process your feelings elsewhere.

People can do what they want, it’s a free country. You are free to ignore their comment.
