My husband and I landed in July 2018.
He has PR status and I am Canadian citizen (I have been out of Canada for over 15 years, was a dependant the last time I lived in Canada)
Question is, is our overseas income taxable for tax year 2018?
We have money saved overseas for covering expenses in Canada, we are slowly sending it to our Canadian bank accounts, but for now we are keeping an account overseas as well.
type of income:
interest income from savings account & income we have saved from his old job overseas.
