Hello manuelmems
It is THE most common reason for applications to be refused. Don't feel discouraged or out of luck. So long as you fully intend (truthfully) to go back home after your studies, you have nothing to worry about. You WILL have to prove this though, and that is the tricky part. It is proven in two parts - financially, and ties to family/assets back home. The financial part is easier to prove because essentially it is about proving that you have the funds to support yourself for a year, pay tuition, and pay travel. To be safe, after the tuition is paid, the minimum number you have to show is 10K Can. in addition to proving travel cost. Now for the second part. The most convincing evidence for returning back home after you studies is showing assets in your name. This would include current employment wages, job description, car payment, mortgage, housing, parent's PR status in home country, any prospective job offer or career path (even including a self-written letter of intention, or letter from a previous teacher, indicating your wish to pursue work back in your home country related specifically to the education you wish to seek in Canada, and how you specifically require this education to achieve that goal). Here is a list that is very comprehensive and WILL grantee approval. It might be outdated with the forms, I will double check.
