Hi guys, I just got my first job offer in Canada. As I mentioned in another Thread, I got confused of my graduation date after I applied my Post-graduation work permit which means I can not keep working if my application got refused. But there is possibility that I will get my PGWP successful, so I do not want to reject this job since I put so much effort to get it. Just prepare for the refusal, what should I be more careful about signing the Employment agreement? As a new comer, just curious if you guys negotiate with employer about the provisions on the agreement sometimes? Does they usually consider the negotiation? Thanks so much!

My situation is a little bit confused. My study permit will expire on March 31st, 2018. I submitted my application on March 26th 2018. If the immigration officer accept my explanation of the honest mistake of misunderstanding the graduation date, then I was not on implied status. However, if he refused my application, it means I submitted the application after 90 days of graduation. Does it also mean that my study permit expire on 90 days after the graduation day and I submitted the application on the implied status? So confused!

If you provided a letter of explanation for the delay, chances are you will get your PGWP. Technically, you are allowed to work while waiting for PGWP in that case.
You will be fine!
Thank you for your information, I probably will stay being nervous for at least one month...Such a great chance to practice my ability to deal with stress...o_O God bless
