is there anyone whose application sent back due to old version of form 0008

Hi,
I have sent my application on 28 may by fedex and it will reach by tomw, but problem is that I have filled the old version of form 0008 and I just read somewhere in the forum that they will send back my application. is there anybody has such experience, in how many days they send back it or is there any solution for this.

Hi,

I never heard from anyone whose application is returned because of this reason, i dont think it should be a problem as you can submit the new version in the second stage but the only solution i think of is to contact fedex and ask them not to deliver it and you complete the new version and send it.

I had word with fedex but they are not able to hold at this stage and i cant send new version cuz my DD is enclosed with old docs.

Then i will suggest to wait for CIC response if they needed a new version then they willl contact you in 30- 45 days, I remember their was one applicant who send the old version as well but he didnt posted anything that his docs are returned.

Recently i have seen some applicants who after sending their forms came to know that their payment method is wrong and then they sent another new application and after doing so they received a letter from CIC to resubmit it and also attach this letter with it but now as they have already send the new application they cant do anything except to wait. I will say just wait for their reply your error is not big one and you will get thru it. Sending another application with a cover will just create confusion for CIC. Rest is upto you.

Are u sure. In how many days they got back their application.
were they asked to fill the new version.

would u like to tell me that which version u have sent iether 2009 or 2008 becasue in 2008 there is an addition of one input column which language do u speak fluently they have added "Niether" but in 2010 form they have just change the orientation on the front page nothing else. if it is 2008 then in my opinion application might be returned.

It was 12-2009 version, there is just one question they put in different way;about economic class, otherwise all contents are same. well we never know what they will do? we have no option just wait & watch...! please do post here wenever u get any update from CIC.

Just please don't frighten people - if you have some real examples, then provide them or just do not transfer some rumors.

The changes in the form 008 as well as in fee payment form are just minor - and it's completely possible that old forms (in case that they are filled right) will just get through...

By the way - if you read official EG7 guide - you will find there one interesting point - questions 6A and the same one in the section about family members (from 0008Gen form): "...are not used for selection purposes.."

And if you apply under the FSW class - then in any form whether it's 2008 or 2009 or 2010 - you have where to put a tick... And to demonstrate your intention to apply exactly under federal skilled worker...

I repeat again - the changes are minor...

So you have all the reasons to stay optimistic!

P.S. Always prefer to operate the facts...

Actually no one is there whose application was returned due to 12-2009 form so far. Israr Bahi has mentioned here about those applicants who used 2008 form and applications were returned. anyhow be optimistic and wait i am also in the same boat.
