Is there any way of renewing temporary visa whilst dealing with PR procedural fairness letter?

Hello

My partner and I applied for express work entry visa. We received a procedural fairness letter regarding my partner's medical condition. We have to reply to it by end of November 2018 which we havent done yet. Our temporary work visa ends at the beginning of November 2018.

We have booked Christmas holidays abroad, and wondered how we can possibly get even if a short extension of our temporary work permit whilst we are waiting for the PR decision so that we can go on our Christmas vacation (that is all booked and paid for) and be able to re-enter Canada?

My partner is a Moroccan national and I am a French national.

Thanks

Olga

How have you applied for PR? At what stage is your application? You should be able to apply for a BOWP (bridging open work permit).

I'm sure not what you want to hear but at least you will have the option of going to France where you can sponsor your husband and I assume he will qualify for healthcare there.
