Senior members and all respected informed members kindly help shed some light on my issue and others with similar problems

My wife and i have applied for study permit and work visa and this is the 9th week running, we made an online application from the UK, i have just completed my masters in UK and i want my wife to have hers in Canada. Her class starts in January 6th 2014.

We just have two weeks left, next week is christmas and the following week is new year and i think there might be holidays or possible closure of work at CIC.......Is there any possibility of us getting our visa approved or should we just forget it?

Visit Cic Uk page and fill out a case spacific qury form as It is one week over than their process time from London.

It has been almost 11 weeks for me and my husband and I have not heard anything. I emailed CIC many times to tell them of my start date 6 Jan 2014 and they said we cant guarantee if it will be in time for my classes. I emailed my college and told them of the delay and they said the latest I can start is 10 January or I have to drop out of the semester.

Hello everyone....

I just checked logged into myCIC and i found that a decision has already been made on our application, though it wasn't favorable we are yet to get notification or message from them regarding the reasons why it was refused.

I urge others to login to see if there's any update for them as well....which you all da very best.

No i didn't not receive a mail from them first......

When you log on to your account, if you are the main application scroll down to your application and click on read message.....the last column on your right it will take you there......All da best

I have not received anything yet and it will now be 12 weeks since I applied. Classes start in 1 week.
