Is there a different application for applying 'outland' and 'inland'?

I am filling out applications IMM 5443. 0008, 5406, 5669, 5285, 1344, & 5481 Spouse or Common-Law Partner In Canada. I am an American citizen, living in SK with a temporary residency, with my husband who is a Canadian citizen. I was told it would be quicker and more convenient to apply 'outland' instead of 'inland'. Do I have to fill out a different application??

Thanks

Yes there are 2 different packages:

Inland - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

Outland - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

Americans should almost always apply outland. So if that's what you're doing, then ONLY use the forms in the outland package.
