Is there a delay in case of upfront medical submissions

Hello Folks,

I submitted my application on Aug 8 but my medical still says "In progress". Please note that I (I am in Canada) and my spouse (in India) did upfront medical examinations (scheduled before ITA) and not close to the application submission date. I notice almost everyone's medical, including folks who submitted after me, have cleared.

Any thoughts please?

This has been reported from Feb/Mar. It does appear to make a difference. However it usually only delays your application and has no adverse effects. You'll just have to wait it out.

I submitted my application Aug 4 and my medical check did not even started. I am in Canada and I did my medicals 2 weeks ahead submission.
The EE system is neither consistent nor predictable.

As someone told me when I was worried about my application...no news is good news. Even if things are going slowly...if you haven't heard anything just keep waiting...not much you can do to speed up the process if they're not waiting on you. Be patient ;D
