Is there a 6 months rule for minors with dual citizenship?

Hi, my 1 year old is a Guyanese but obtained Canadian citizenship through his Canadian father. He recently returned from Canada but I'm being told that he needs to return to Canada within 6 months or his Citizenship will be revoked... is this even true?
He also has a Canadian passport.

The baby will stay a canadian citizen for life even if he never sets foot here.
