Is the spouse's occupation important? Help!!!

Hi guys. I am applying as Skilled Worker. Is my wife's occupation important? She works as babysitter and sometimes she does Personal Assistant work for her boss. I will submit my application soon and I put her down as babysitter. Will the ask for proof? Will a letter be enough as proof?
