17 months is the time it takes to process 80% of applications. So, 20% of applications take longer than 17 months, the other 80 take less, so it coule be anywhere from 4 months to 17 months for the others.

Best way to analyse times is to look at the spreadsheets in this group by VO if you want to know how long it is taking others.

Any ways as Gary says its dependes couze its vary case to case, the Visa Ofice, The Immigration oficer Etc. Etc.

There has been talk of the new budget speeding things up but nothibg official.
Just go by what cic aays on their website and the results from the spreadsheets here.

Its fake, anything that you hear and does not show in the oficial CIC Page from the Goverment its not correct

I can't say that it is fake, Minister of immigration announced it publicly and it was included on PL platform to speed up the family class application. I am sure they are working on it, we can't see it because we want our family members JUST NOW and JUST NOW. And once condition 51 and Bill C-24 are repealed it will for sure be faster.

We can say that information is fake due to they havent post it in the oficial CIC Web page, those are plans that the goverment
are working on it, and everybody knows that the minister and his cabinet have been sayin from a long ttime that they are going
to improve in bringing the procesing times down, but again tell you thats something they are working on it and it could take
months-years, yes the cases are takin 9-12 months in 80 percent of the cases, or like Ottawa 5-6 months, but its all depends
on the VO, Take a look and check the procesing times at the OFICIAL CIC WEB PAGE, and you will find out for yourself.
