Is the police certificate from Canada not needed in application?

In IMM5690 checklist, police certificates are required in the application. My understanding is that that should not include Canada's police certificate. Is it correct?

The Canadian PCC is only needed if you have lived in Canada for at least 6 months. Which is the requirement for all PCC, whichever country you have lived in for at least 6 months you need a PCC from that country

Correct. You do not need a Canadian PCC.
