I have heard rumors that the Montreal office is more stringent compared to Toronto. While there is no proof, I have seen 2 cases where the abcenses were significant and when the officer was not satisfied, she had turned into online information on social media. I am not sure if such cases would have been treated any differently in Toronto. Any personal experiences? In both cases the applicant did not speak French which should not have any effect.
