Stayed in Canada for study and then started working on PGWP.

Canada to HOME -> to visit family in many years

April 27, 2021 (departure from Canada)
April 29, 2021 (arrival in HOME)

Stayed in HOME for 5 months.

HOME to Canada -> for work (PGWP)

Sept 30, 2021 (departure from HOME)
Oct 01, 2021 (arrival in Canada)

Does the fact that I am in Canada now mean I am still "travelling"?

So in your case Canada to home is what will come in travel history
