Is someone allowed to move to Canada on PNP and yet work in the US

Forum seniors,

While I await my chance to make the cut off under EE, I am curious to understand if people are allowed to land in Canada under the PNP program and then continue working across the border in the US? Or does moving to Canada under the PNP program mean that I must work in Canada as well?

Anyone? I got a letter from CIC stating that I fall in the targeted criteria of people who are eligible to show interest in/apply under OINP.
Ideally I would like to move to Canada under express entry or OINP and gradually transition to working from USA to Canada.
