Is provincial PR for Ontario worth the risk?

Hi Team,

Firstly, Thanks to the forum for opening up a platform to clarify any type of questions aspirants have.

Secondly, I am right now in the Express Entry pool with a score of 428 and waiting for the invite. In the meantime I got an invite from Ontario for Provincial PR. I know that limits my to live and work only in Ontario and therefore seek you advise about taking the right decision. Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Your score is low. There is no chance you will be selected under Express Entry this year.

There is no limit on working and living in Ontario once you have landed. You are making up rules that don't exist.

"worth the risk"? What risk are you talking about?

Like scylla says here, there is no limit on working and living in Ontario with PNP. And after a few years, you may choose to stay in other provinces too.

How long has your profile been active? And may I know your NOC?

And Manoj, if you think it is "risky", better reject it. Others waiting here with scores above 400, but just not meeting the 450 bar (like me sitting at 429 ) might get a chance! (kidding, of course).

Lucky you!

Hurry and apply to Ontario. You can live and work any where in the country. You have nothing to loose

With 428, it's probably your best option
