Is possession of hard copy of WES report necessary ?

I ordered WES report providing my friend's address in Canada.
Then my friend scanned the WES report and emailed the scans to me. But the hard copy is still with my friend.
I am still in the EE pool waiting for ITA and applying outland.

So my question is - do i need the hard copy of WES report at any stage of EE / post-ITA / till the end of Permanent residency process ?

Its better to have the hard copy with you.
Only instance you might require the hard copy is if they ask you to attend an Interview in your country of residence before issue of PR.
Else, you may require it at the time of landing.

Proceed with your application but make sure you have the original copy mailed to you. Cic might or might not ask for the originals depending on if you are called for an interview or not. Its always safe to have all originals with you at all the times during the pr process.
