is our application valid after 30 days of intimation by emial

Hi, i applied online and got approval as well. Problem here is, i sent my passport to LA and rules have changed now. we are supposed to send a cheque of $35 to one location and passport to San Diego. my friend who mailed his passport along with me got his passport back without stamping and the above explanation given in it. i didn't receive mine and 30 days duration which they mentioned in approval email will be completed by 18th of april. is there anyone who got their stamping done after sending your passport after 30 days of intimation as well.

Any light thrown at this is appreciated.

As soon as you receive your passport send it to either LA VAC or to NY consulate for stamping along with a letter explaining the delay. I'm sure they would disregard the 30 days validity.

Can you pls share your timeline. I am waiting for passport request and it's taking ages.

bonitaellada , i got approval within 2 weeks of submission of online app. and it's 12 day past that i sent my passport to LA
