Is original matric marks sheet required at any stage for document verification?

Hi guys,

I want to send my educational documents to HEC and then WES. Can anyone please guide me if I'd need to send my original matric marks sheet at any stage?

The reason I'm asking is because I don't have the original mark sheet as my college took it from me during admission. I do have the photostat copies though.

Can anyone please guide me if I can get through without having to apply for a duplicate matric mark sheet as I do not want to go through this seemingly unnecessary trouble.

For Express Entry, you are only required to provide one proof of education. That could either your diploma OR mark sheets.
So in your case, just provide diploma only. Mark sheets along with diploma is just for WES.
However, although extremely unlikely, by principle IRCC has the right to ask for any additional document. But I don't see that happening for your marksheets.
