I've already applied for Canadian Immigration as a federal skilled worker and submitted my application with complete supporting documents on 29th of March 2011. But I've a concern, I just realised when checking the London visa office specific instructions cheklist that I only sent a certified translation of my Marriage Certificate and not the original. Its is written on it like the following:
For the applicants from Pakistan.
"Original marriage certificate or "Nikah Nama" issued by an official responsible for the registration of marriages in the district in which the marriage took place and bearing the Nikah registry seal, along with a certified English or French translation."
We are Pakistani nationals but currently residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and also got married in Riyadh. Our Marriage certificate was issued from a Riyadh court. Does "For the applicants from Pakistan" means applicants applying from Pakistan or Pakistanis from any where in the world?
I just didnt notice that and just realized that we only sent Marriage Certificate photocopy which is in Arabic along with a Certified Notarized Translation. Can this make our case weak? Can our case be rejected due to this reason? Please guide me with your Kind advise.
Regards.
