My question is threefold! First of all, I have 2.5 years of work experience as a regulatory toxicologist from India, which falls under NOC 2121, skill level A. Can this work experience, being 'non-Canadian' still be used for applying under federal skilled worker? I am currently doing PhD from Canada and have a master degree in Toxicology from India. Should I wait to finish PhD from Canada first and then apply for immigration or should I go ahead with the work experience I have. The reason I want to apply for immigration before finishing PhD because as a permanent resident, I hope to get better job opportunities in my area of expertise rather than being on a post grad work permit. Lastly, my experience letter from India does not specifically mentions my designation as a 'regulatory toxicologist'. It rather mentions 'Senior Research Associate: Intellectual Property' because toxicology department was under the umbrella of intellectual property. Will it be a problem for application to immigration?
Many thanks in advance!
