Hi,
I got here under the live-in caregiver program over two years ago. I'm in the process of collecting all the paper work so I can apply for my PR. I was wondering how detailed the immigration background screening of each applicant is?
I lived in the US for awhile then returned to my country for a year and after that I found a job in Vancouver. I got my work permit but didn't mention anything about me living in US on my resume. I have a new passport as well so theres no stamps or anything that could connect me to my life in US except the drivers license. I exchanged it for a BC one in the beginning not thinking it could cause me trouble.
How thorough are they? are they going to go thru all the details especially when it comes to the driving record?
Thank you for any help!
